Guatemala Huehuetenango Huixoc RFA

The name of this finca, Huixoc which means 'water spring' was chosen by the founder, Jose Olivio Chavez, in 1940. Located in Northwest Guatemala in the lush mountains of La Democracia at altitudes between 4200 and 5500 feet. The estate has many natural springs that provide water and power for coffee production. The varietals int his coffee are Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, and Mondo Nuovo. They are processed wet and sun dried on patios from November to March.

The cup nice lemon, mild citrus acidity, full body, chocolate and creamy walnut finish.
