Ethiopia Natural Anaerobic Gera
The GERA Estate is located in the Djimma region of Ethiopia at altitudes over 2,000 meters above sea level. This altitude combined with the nitrogen-rich plants and natural fertilizers used on the estate provide excellent growing conditions for specialty coffee.
The anaerobic process is the removal of oxygen from the container which the coffee cherries are fermented in. This process in this coffee enables extremely fruit forward notes to come forward. Our roast has notes of Blueberry Jam, Papaya, Pineapple Juice and Summer Watermelon.
This coffee is extremely fruit forward in taste. The cup is very sweet, above average body, high acidity with tastes of Plum Wine, Blueberry Jam, Papaya, and Watermelon
