Mexico Huatusco El Santo
Grown in Huatusco, Veracruz, at an altitude of 4000 feet, these Mundo Novo, Garnica varietals are fully washed and dried partly by sun and partly mechanical. Coffee is the main agricultural crop grown in this region, produced almost entirely by an indigenous population, of which, some don't even speak Spanish. Comprised of about 60 farms all processing their coffee in the same wet and dry mills called Beneficio Santa Rosa and Beatriz Martinez Lobato.
The cup is smooth and sweet with notes of dark chocolate, honey and red apple.
